Benefit Pump Up The Party REVIEW

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog :)

Finally I have my self together and will be starting to do my blogs a lot more regularly, every other Thursday I will be uploading a new blog post!

Today I wanted to give my review on 'PUMP UP THE PARTY!' by benefit. Benefit is one of my favourite makeup brands so when I got this tin full of goodies for a gift I was so excited to try some of the things inside.

so there are 6 different things within the tin;

- Highbeam Mini
- Benetint Mini
- Mini eyeshadow palette (Milk it!, It's complicated, Nude Swings and Kiss me, I'm tipsy)
- Rockateur (with brush)
- Roller lash mini
- The POREfessional mini

I myself am a big benefit  fan, their makeup always gives me exactly what I want. When I was 16 their 'Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow' foundation was my god send! everything about their makeup just seems to be so flawless and to last so long without budging!

first is the mini eyeshadow palette, this is my favourite part of the tin, mainly because of the colour 'milk it!'... it is AMAZING! I use it in the corner of my eye, its that great shade of light that gives the impression of your eyes looking a tad bigger.

The blusher although light can really set your face, it is a nice subtle pink shade called 'Rockateur'. You also get a square blusher brush with it.

Then for the mini's 'high beam' and 'Benetint' in the 2.5ml bottle, although they are little they have lasted me quiet a while with there still being quite a lot in still. The high beam isn't my favourite, although sometimes it works very well a lot of the time I fell like it actually takes off my makeup when I try to dab it or blend it in but other times it does work really well. Benetint is definitely one of my favourite things out of the tin, you can use it on your cheeks or lips, I choose not to use it on my cheeks as I don't really think it gives a brilliant result as it dries quite quickly, but I love to use it on my lips, it gives my lips a lovely rosy glow, so if you aren't a big lipstick fan I suggest trying this out.

Then there is the POREfessional primer. It has a slight beige tint to it but it doesn't show on your skin, if anything it gives you a really airbrushed look. Sometimes on a busy day where I know I don't have time to do my full face of makeup I simply smooth this over my skin and maybe pop on a bit of mascara and I'm good to go!

Last but certainly not least is the 'Roller Lash mini Mascara'. Now I'm always up for trying a new mascara especially with the promises of 'no clumps' and 'gives you a look of wearing fake eyelashes' but this is 100% the best mascara I have ever had! there are no clumps as the brush has a lot of bristles and it really does make your lashes so long and beautiful. Another thing I really love about this mascara is that it is so durable and even after a long day with it on it never dries up and falls off onto the underneath of your eyes, when you feel your lashes when you've had it on for a while they feel so soft like you aren't even wearing mascara its great!

so my question for you all today is, what is your favourite makeup brand? i'd love to hear in the comments or tweet me!

Thankyou so much for reading! I will keep you updated on my twitter of when I will be uploading (@Jayneelsewhere)

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette Review

Guess who's back... back again :) Had a huge break from my blog, the last year and a half has been mad busy for me, but now I have more free time I'm back doing what I love, writing blog posts for you beautiful people!
Also a big happy new year to you all, hope 2016 is good to you!

I was so excited for this palette to make its appearance on the shelves as my go to eyeshadow makeup is nude/smoky. It did not fail to disappoint I absolutely love it! before I bought this I never really wore eyeshadow, but all of my friends did, and so I started to try wear it more often as I always thought eyeshadow finishes your look perfectly and can be the main part of your makeup.

The palette is a really good mix of nude colours then darker smoky colours which some people may be afraid of but if you're brave enough to do the really dark smoky go for it! The colour 'Amor' is a really nice touch to finishing a dark smoky look. As you can expect from urban decay the pigmentation and the creaminess of the shimmer shades are just perfect.

My favourite combination is of the nude colours in the palette. The shimmer shades 'High', 'Dirtysweet' and 'Radar' and the matte shades 'Whiskey', 'Combust' and 'Thirteen'. My preference is to do the mattes first then cover with the shimmer of the same type of shades. I do that look almost daily as nude smoky is my favourite eyeshadow look.

If any of you have your preference of shades together from this palette let me know id love to hear if there is something I may not have put together that look nice :)

Thankyou so much for reading! I cant wait to be back on the scene of blogging. My aim is to do one blogpost a week and I will keep you updated on my twitter (@Jayneelsewhere)

Red Cherry Lashes

One of my obsessions is definitely eyelashes! To me they just give your eyes that last finishing amazing look, and especially if you feel like your mascara just doesn't quite cut it and make your lashes as long and voluptuous as they promise eyelashes could be your answer!
The eyelashes I've been LOVING at the moment are Red Cherry Lashes, there are so many different types of Red Cherry Lashes to choose from but my favourite are #43 because they are a lot more natural but still thick and volumeous to give your eyes that extra bit of wow! I have also posted a picture of me with the lashes on just to show you what they look like on.

As you can see the lashes are quite long but that's just what I prefer but you can have a look at lengths on the website that sell the lashes. Also on the main website they sell the lashes it is a bit pricey, so you can (like me) scope around on places like eBay to find them quite a lot cheaper.

Welcome Back!

Hello everyone!
Just a little note to start. It's been a while since I made a post because i was right bang in the middle of my GCSE's but thankfully I've now finished school but then i did go away with the NCS (National Citizen Service) and enrolled and started college so i had no free time whatsoever, but now i have decided to allocate a day to my posts (which will be a Thursday) so that I'm not overwhelming everyone and myself with posts! and it works around my college timetable very well as i have a Thursday off which will give me more than enough time to make great posts for you!
Thankyou for your patience in getting back into my blog posts i hope you all stick around for some new good stuff :-) if anyone has any requests of what they would like me to review i have a twitter account (@jayneelsewhere) where you can tweet me with suggestions!

Thankyou!!

p.s for everyone asking i passed nearly all my exams with 7 B's 5 C's 1 D and 1 E :-)

Foundation: Rimmel Lasting Finish

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation
Hi everyone! hope you all had a good week! :-)
So today i'm going to do my blog post on my new foundation... i first found out about this when i had been round my friends house, we were having a nice girly night in and i noticed her foundation looked really flawless and her skin looked beautiful! I seen her foundation on her desk and thought hmmm i may have to give that a try! So the next day i went to go to boots with my Mam and Sister so i mentioned it to them and we went to the rimmel desk and i tested out different colours to match my skin tone, my preferred shade is a lighter shade as i have very fair skin and i chose shade 100, it doesn't  make my skin look white but it doesnt make it look orange either it just gives me a really nice even coverage on my face. I think i will stick to this foundation for a long time now as it is amazing! One thing i noticed is that i doesnt feel like normal foundation where it sits on your skin quite heavily but it feels like it sets in making my feel much more confident to go out to town or the cinemas without taking more makeup to top up my makeup as it really sets into your skin and lasts for hours! I find that this makeup is really nice to wear for school/college/uni because we all know while walking round getting to your next lesson especially walking outside to your next lesson can kind of ruin your makeup but recently from using this makeup ive noticed it hasnt budged one bit! i love it!

Thankyou for reading everyone! Have an amazing weekend!x

Hair Growth!!

Hi everyone!
Okay so i apologize for how long this post might be... but seriously stick with it and read it! This is the best product i've ever bought!
The container of the tablets.

Okay so my mam works at a drugstore/pharmacy and they sell different vitamins and different kinds of weird tablets, and i remember i'd moaned onto my mam about how my nails never grow and how horrible my hair was and how im sick of getting spots - then later that week my mam brought home this. Skin, Hair and Nails tablets. At first i thought 'will these work?' 'what happens if it makes my skin/hair/nails worse?!' and then i seen the tablet size and was totally put off! i know they do seem really big especially for someone who struggles to take tablets as they are so much more bigger than a normal - for arguments sake paracetamol or ibuprofen - but i promise you if you are used to taking tablets and you are fine with it, they are the best thing ever!
size of tablets.
My mam bought me these around about summer 2 years ago and i didn't try them until summer last year because of how off putting the size of the tablet was. ( If you cant see clearly in the picture the tablet is probably about the size of 2 ibuprofen's stuck on top of one another). Finally i gave in with my nails being all horrible and weak, my hair being brittle and never growing and my skin breaking out and took a tablet, the instructions tell you to take one per day and there are 30 tablets in the container, so i took these tablets everyday for a month and realized i had found something AMAZING!!! my hair had grew about an inch and my nails where growing so nicely and had unreal strength in them id never had before and id realized i hadn't broke out as much as i had in the past.

January 2012
This really excited me as i had just got my hair cut into a bob from having quite long hair and i hated it, so these tablets have helped me massively with hair growth, obviously with my regular trips to the hairdressers.
January 2013

I'm so pleased with the results and anyone i hear complaining about their hair growth i have recommended this as i promise you it does work if you are committed to take these tablets everyday for a month but then once that month is over get another one and do the same because it really does show results quicker than you can tell yourself!
Here is the link to the tablets http://www.boots.com/en/Boots-Pharmaceuticals-Skin-Hair-and-Nails-30-capsules_1154698/ and this will also give you every other bit of information you need!

Thankyou for reading! if you do have any questions feel free to comment or tweet me at @JayneElsewhere and i will try to reply as quick as i can :-)
