Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette Review

Guess who's back... back again :) Had a huge break from my blog, the last year and a half has been mad busy for me, but now I have more free time I'm back doing what I love, writing blog posts for you beautiful people!
Also a big happy new year to you all, hope 2016 is good to you!

I was so excited for this palette to make its appearance on the shelves as my go to eyeshadow makeup is nude/smoky. It did not fail to disappoint I absolutely love it! before I bought this I never really wore eyeshadow, but all of my friends did, and so I started to try wear it more often as I always thought eyeshadow finishes your look perfectly and can be the main part of your makeup.

The palette is a really good mix of nude colours then darker smoky colours which some people may be afraid of but if you're brave enough to do the really dark smoky go for it! The colour 'Amor' is a really nice touch to finishing a dark smoky look. As you can expect from urban decay the pigmentation and the creaminess of the shimmer shades are just perfect.

My favourite combination is of the nude colours in the palette. The shimmer shades 'High', 'Dirtysweet' and 'Radar' and the matte shades 'Whiskey', 'Combust' and 'Thirteen'. My preference is to do the mattes first then cover with the shimmer of the same type of shades. I do that look almost daily as nude smoky is my favourite eyeshadow look.

If any of you have your preference of shades together from this palette let me know id love to hear if there is something I may not have put together that look nice :)

Thankyou so much for reading! I cant wait to be back on the scene of blogging. My aim is to do one blogpost a week and I will keep you updated on my twitter (@Jayneelsewhere)

Red Cherry Lashes

One of my obsessions is definitely eyelashes! To me they just give your eyes that last finishing amazing look, and especially if you feel like your mascara just doesn't quite cut it and make your lashes as long and voluptuous as they promise eyelashes could be your answer!
The eyelashes I've been LOVING at the moment are Red Cherry Lashes, there are so many different types of Red Cherry Lashes to choose from but my favourite are #43 because they are a lot more natural but still thick and volumeous to give your eyes that extra bit of wow! I have also posted a picture of me with the lashes on just to show you what they look like on.

As you can see the lashes are quite long but that's just what I prefer but you can have a look at lengths on the website that sell the lashes. Also on the main website they sell the lashes it is a bit pricey, so you can (like me) scope around on places like eBay to find them quite a lot cheaper.

Foundation: Rimmel Lasting Finish

Rimmel Lasting Finish 25hr Foundation
Hi everyone! hope you all had a good week! :-)
So today i'm going to do my blog post on my new foundation... i first found out about this when i had been round my friends house, we were having a nice girly night in and i noticed her foundation looked really flawless and her skin looked beautiful! I seen her foundation on her desk and thought hmmm i may have to give that a try! So the next day i went to go to boots with my Mam and Sister so i mentioned it to them and we went to the rimmel desk and i tested out different colours to match my skin tone, my preferred shade is a lighter shade as i have very fair skin and i chose shade 100, it doesn't  make my skin look white but it doesnt make it look orange either it just gives me a really nice even coverage on my face. I think i will stick to this foundation for a long time now as it is amazing! One thing i noticed is that i doesnt feel like normal foundation where it sits on your skin quite heavily but it feels like it sets in making my feel much more confident to go out to town or the cinemas without taking more makeup to top up my makeup as it really sets into your skin and lasts for hours! I find that this makeup is really nice to wear for school/college/uni because we all know while walking round getting to your next lesson especially walking outside to your next lesson can kind of ruin your makeup but recently from using this makeup ive noticed it hasnt budged one bit! i love it!

Thankyou for reading everyone! Have an amazing weekend!x

Hair: Argan Oil

Avon Moroccan Argan Oil
My hair after using the argan oil.
Hi everyone, so i thought about it long and hard and thought my first kind of beauty blog post would be on what i think is the best thing since sliced bread!
Avon Advanced Techniques 360 nourishment Moroccan Argan Oil.

I have tried many argan oils before and felt that the result i was left with wasn't shiny or soft but more greasy and brittle. I was a bit scared of using this product but had a go anyway just to try it. Now after every shower i have i use this product, its amazing! it smells great and makes my hair so soft and shiny. This product is easy to use and the pump is very practical and one squirt is literally all you need even for very long hair, i start by towel drying my hair then combing through it, then supplying one lot of the argan oil onto the palm of my hand and rubbing my hands together giving an even amount on both hands, i then run my hands through my freshly washed hair and then kind of shaking it through the lengths of my hair - after that i then comb through my hair again then just blow dry my hair, leaving it with a lovely smooth, shiny and softer look and feel. Also find that by using this oil it really helps my hair to dry quicker because my hair is very thick. The link for this product is below and prices are also below go check it out if you like the sound of it but please don't be put off if you don't like oil hair products! give it a try it works very well.

prices: when i first got this product given to me it was £5.50 at the minute it is £3.50 so is very much worth just a try if you are daunted by this product, these prices i have listed above are only for the 30ml bottle but 100ml bottles are available for £11.67.
