Benefit Pump Up The Party REVIEW

Hi everyone! Welcome back to my blog :)

Finally I have my self together and will be starting to do my blogs a lot more regularly, every other Thursday I will be uploading a new blog post!

Today I wanted to give my review on 'PUMP UP THE PARTY!' by benefit. Benefit is one of my favourite makeup brands so when I got this tin full of goodies for a gift I was so excited to try some of the things inside.

so there are 6 different things within the tin;

- Highbeam Mini
- Benetint Mini
- Mini eyeshadow palette (Milk it!, It's complicated, Nude Swings and Kiss me, I'm tipsy)
- Rockateur (with brush)
- Roller lash mini
- The POREfessional mini

I myself am a big benefit  fan, their makeup always gives me exactly what I want. When I was 16 their 'Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow' foundation was my god send! everything about their makeup just seems to be so flawless and to last so long without budging!

first is the mini eyeshadow palette, this is my favourite part of the tin, mainly because of the colour 'milk it!'... it is AMAZING! I use it in the corner of my eye, its that great shade of light that gives the impression of your eyes looking a tad bigger.

The blusher although light can really set your face, it is a nice subtle pink shade called 'Rockateur'. You also get a square blusher brush with it.

Then for the mini's 'high beam' and 'Benetint' in the 2.5ml bottle, although they are little they have lasted me quiet a while with there still being quite a lot in still. The high beam isn't my favourite, although sometimes it works very well a lot of the time I fell like it actually takes off my makeup when I try to dab it or blend it in but other times it does work really well. Benetint is definitely one of my favourite things out of the tin, you can use it on your cheeks or lips, I choose not to use it on my cheeks as I don't really think it gives a brilliant result as it dries quite quickly, but I love to use it on my lips, it gives my lips a lovely rosy glow, so if you aren't a big lipstick fan I suggest trying this out.

Then there is the POREfessional primer. It has a slight beige tint to it but it doesn't show on your skin, if anything it gives you a really airbrushed look. Sometimes on a busy day where I know I don't have time to do my full face of makeup I simply smooth this over my skin and maybe pop on a bit of mascara and I'm good to go!

Last but certainly not least is the 'Roller Lash mini Mascara'. Now I'm always up for trying a new mascara especially with the promises of 'no clumps' and 'gives you a look of wearing fake eyelashes' but this is 100% the best mascara I have ever had! there are no clumps as the brush has a lot of bristles and it really does make your lashes so long and beautiful. Another thing I really love about this mascara is that it is so durable and even after a long day with it on it never dries up and falls off onto the underneath of your eyes, when you feel your lashes when you've had it on for a while they feel so soft like you aren't even wearing mascara its great!

so my question for you all today is, what is your favourite makeup brand? i'd love to hear in the comments or tweet me!

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette Review

Guess who's back... back again :) Had a huge break from my blog, the last year and a half has been mad busy for me, but now I have more free time I'm back doing what I love, writing blog posts for you beautiful people!
Also a big happy new year to you all, hope 2016 is good to you!

I was so excited for this palette to make its appearance on the shelves as my go to eyeshadow makeup is nude/smoky. It did not fail to disappoint I absolutely love it! before I bought this I never really wore eyeshadow, but all of my friends did, and so I started to try wear it more often as I always thought eyeshadow finishes your look perfectly and can be the main part of your makeup.

The palette is a really good mix of nude colours then darker smoky colours which some people may be afraid of but if you're brave enough to do the really dark smoky go for it! The colour 'Amor' is a really nice touch to finishing a dark smoky look. As you can expect from urban decay the pigmentation and the creaminess of the shimmer shades are just perfect.

My favourite combination is of the nude colours in the palette. The shimmer shades 'High', 'Dirtysweet' and 'Radar' and the matte shades 'Whiskey', 'Combust' and 'Thirteen'. My preference is to do the mattes first then cover with the shimmer of the same type of shades. I do that look almost daily as nude smoky is my favourite eyeshadow look.

If any of you have your preference of shades together from this palette let me know id love to hear if there is something I may not have put together that look nice :)

Thankyou so much for reading! I cant wait to be back on the scene of blogging. My aim is to do one blogpost a week and I will keep you updated on my twitter (@Jayneelsewhere)

Happy Blogging!!
